GCSE Design and Technology is a qualification that enables Pupils to apply themselves and develop the practical skills needed to succeed in their chosen pathway. The mathematical content in the course will test Pupils’ application of mathematical skills in an applied context and accounts for 15% of the final marks. These skills are taught in Maths separately and will be reinforced during the design and technology teaching.
